Jose Garcia Ventura
I’m a Senior Data Scientist with 8+ years turning data into decisions.
My work centers on process and pricing optimization, causal inference, A/B testing, and time series forecasting. I like problems that sit between rigorous math and shipping production software — from designing ML architecture and demand/elasticity models to building LLM enrichment pipelines and constraint-based optimizers that hold up in the real world.
I’m currently a Senior Data Scientist at Kerry Group, where I work on manufacturing yield and set-point optimization, and cofounder of Pulsecity, where I designed the architecture of an AI event-intelligence platform. Before that I worked on pricing at HP. I hold master’s degrees in Mathematical Modeling & Research and in Applied Mathematics.
Day to day I work in Python, R, SQL, Apache Spark, and the cloud, with a soft spot for optimization and physics-informed machine learning.
Featured work
- pinnrl — PINNs + RL for PDEs — my master’s thesis, an open-source library that solves partial differential equations with physics-informed neural networks and a reinforcement-learning agent that learns where to sample. Published on PyPI.
- See the Portfolio for applied ML and optimization projects, and the CV for the full history.
